On the My Patient’s List
Adherence in this view is calculated based on the number of doses taken in the last 7 days divided by the number of doses expected, regardless of the last time we heard from their sensor.
For example: for a patient prescribed to take their QVAR twice a day, this would be X doses taken, divided by 14.
If we have not heard from their preventer sensor in the last 2 days, it will say ‘Inactive’.
If the patient does not have a preventer medication on their account or they do not have a sensor on their preventer medication, it will say ‘N/A’.
In the Patient Profile
In this view, the average adherence printed above the adherence graph is calculated based on the number of preventer uses in the time frame represented by the slider below the Adherence graph through until their last sync date.
If the time period represented on the slider is longer than the time the patient has been enrolled in Propeller, we will calculate the patient’s average adherence based on the patient’s first sync date through the last sync date.
